X-S FC 3
Ram's Rams 0

Braddell Westlake and X-S wins have been going together hand-in-hand and they don't seem to be breaking up anytime soon. A big pitch, lots of time and space, along with things warm and moist are things we need to be at our tip-top paddle pop. Thaqif sought first-blood with a typical long range effort and he made it look just so easy peasy. 2nd and 3rd goals were from some good play and I just can't be bothered to describe it. But by that time, X-S FC WERE OWNING!!!

Good job Joes. More to come in time to come....

I believe everything happens for a reason. It was a good thing Blogger screwed up my last post regarding our 4-2 defeat and I never posted it. Because after our last match, it was obvious that that was not necessary.

X-S beat EEFC comfortably

There was a healthy squad number. Not too many, not too little. Perfect. That was also what the scoreline reflected as goals from Thaqif and Daniel settled the tie effectively in the second half. X-S started the first half like this: Naqib, Eng, Farrell, Derek, Jasdeep, Ali, Daniel, Shaun, Boon, Jusri and Xian. Ali impressed throughout, culminating in a run beating 3 defenders before opting not to shoot in the dying moments of the game. Daniel and Shaun kept the defenders shielded on the ground and held their own in the air. Dominance was key. Both strikers were off-form as they squandered one too many chances throughout but replacement killer Thaqif provided the spark in the second half, shooting across the goal into the far corner from the top of the box. The assist was provided by none other than resurgent winger, Wee Meng aka Billy Jean (or some shit like that). He bamboozled the poor opposition left back upside down before beating him and passing to Thaqif who had time and space to pick his spot and line the shot.

This time, X-S kept the momentum going, aided by the return of a commanding presence at the back. Juggernaut Ferdineng eased seamlessly back into the defence that he owns. Farrellgher has been on abit of a rot, possibly because he is pussywhipped due to crossing the Bridge to Terabitha one too many times. All the fullbacks played very well, keeping the faith.

Daniel, easily reclaiming the engine room that he dominated a very long time ago, has been at a very high standard since the end of last season. Popping in with important goals time and again, he sealed the deal with a thumping header into the roof of the net after Thaqif knocked Fabreyas' inswinging corner kick back across goal.

Now we'll see what Taka has to say about Indian KTV and the likes. Those who do not understand what I'm talking about, just ask me on MSN.
