X- SFC 3
Team 79ers 0
Wouldnt it be nice if we woke up one morning, checked the latest scores and saw the above scoreline...

When asked what went wrong, the Spaniard of a manager Rafarell Benitez said: "In the first half, everything.
"We were watching the game. When we were attacking we were giving the ball away, then we were regaining and playing counter-attack, so we were not winning any second balls, any challenges.
"In the second half you could see we had chances in the first minute. The difference in football is if you take your chances, like they did in the first half, you are winning and it is more difficult for the other team. We were disappointed, everyone was disappointed, but at this level every team is a good team.
"It was not just one player, we were not the best in any part of the pitch. We knew that they were a good team, very organised, good on the counter-attack - and we were giving the ball away all the time and giving them chances.''
Ronalidinho admitted his side were well beaten by Team 79ers but he is confident the Yellows can bounce back.
"I'm of the view that because Esther is missing from the recent few games, many of our players think that we can pass silly balls or get away with silly first touches. Back in Barcelona, we always knew that the manager was watching. One wrong move and out you go. Hence the reason why I went out to AC."
Psychologist and human behaviour expert Dr Ally McZouky agreed with Ronalidinho, pointing out the exodus of S-League players to the Indonesian league who blamed the poor support of local football fans.
"Soccer players play for the fans. When there's no fans, they create imaginary fans like Chong Wei En, CHong Wei Bin, Chiongster and KOF Striker - and this is where nonsense begins to creep into the game."
He also noted the absence of Boon, Wei Jia, Epain and Huda during recent matches, players whom he believe can add a different dimension to X-SFC's game when the going gets tough.
Nevertheless, he believes that the love among players at the club despite poor performance will get them through to greater heights.

Ever onward, Andersonians,
Always ready to go.
With constancy and purpose,
To failure we'll say "No"
Progress is what we aim for,
Success is in our sight.
So marching forward, and never backward,
Our future will be bright.

X-S Drop Points To Pink Dolph ins Yet Again

A rusty and depleted X-S side took to the field last Sunday hoping to secure maximum points against a team that has not won a single match this season. However, X-S' downfall was its own doing as the players got caught up with arguing with the opposition and match official and trying out fancy tricks that were wholly optimistic and unbeneficial to the team in anyway.

It is time the players wake up and realise that there are times to be entertaining and there are times to be clinical and efficient. Especially when they are not in the lead.

There was no commitment to winning, the desire was lacking from certain players. Motivation should come from within, and amplified by your team-mates. May this disappointing situation not repeat itself especially since the tougher games are coming up soon.

the face of shame.

here's to better games.

Sunday

X-S FC vs 79ers

I think it's 9am

I think it's at Clementi Woods

Bring:

1) Attire of your favourite colour

2) Lots of guts and your balls

Leave at home:

1) Your lame jokes

79ers are 1 place below us, 3 points away with one game in hand. This is a good chance to hold on tight to 3rd and slowly crawl up. Your vice-captain won't be there physically but his love goes out to all you guys. And he is doing this because your captain is busy skyping someone faraway in sweden. Awww. Love love. Ask me if you guys want to know who. *sniggers*.
