Match against Outram Sec was incomplete due to an over-enthusiatic X-S FC fan who invaded the pitch at halftime. He evacuated soon enough but came back on the field 10 mins into the 2nd half, demanding that the X-S players leave the field. He was apparently concerned for the team's safety due to the rainy conditions. Thus, the match was abandoned as both teams trudged off the field unwillingly. However, it has been re-scheduled for this Tuesday, 27th December 2005.

Time and place to be assured.

X-S FC has returned to winning ways and are slowly finding their feet as their run of matches stretch. Although the defence is leaky as they are playing with 3rd choice goalkeeper, Ramesh Rajaram, they notched a victory in the last match over THE Indon team.

In their first match after A levels, CF X-S were overpowered by Fake Madrid FC by 4 goals to none. This dampened their mood but in their next match against Gremlins FC, their dominance was not translated to goals as they slumped to a 4-1 defeat. Both matches were played at St Wilfrid and this underlined their unfamiliarity to the pitch, as the entire team had never played there before the match against FMFC. It also has to be noted that X-S led 1-0 at halftime against the Gremlins, who camped in their half in the 2nd half and scored 4 goals thru defensive lapses.

However, X-S have got only themselves to blame. Own goals and miscommunication peppered with the exuberance of Captain Yaz led to the goals. Furthermore, the team has to shoot more often and not take too long on the ball and keep their cool. However, its true that the arrival of the jerseys brought about their first win. Or could it be the presence of the girl?

Coincidence or fact? We'll find out as they square off against Outram Sec team this Friday at Tanglin Field 1 at 3pm.

A makeshift Gremlins side beat X-S FC. The reason is this.

We haven't got out jerseys. Trust me. We'll be playing like Arsenal and the likes the moment we wear it. WATCH OUT!

Thats the last excuse we have for losing, guys. Must start winning already. haha.
X-S FC slumped to their 2nd consecutive defeats after being hammered 4-1 by a team called Gremlins. In a match where the X-S team should have won, complacency and lack of organizing at the back cost them dearly.

However, X-S managed to put up a magnificant display during the first half, controlling every aspect of the game during the first 45 mins (or 31 mins). Jasdeep was putting up a man of the match display, winning every tackle and controlling the middle of the park while captain Yasin was playing with fire in his belly. The deadlock was broken when Shahrul scrambled in the goal after a flick on by Nuri from a Boon Leng's corner.

But 2nd half was a disaster for the team. With a makeshift back four, X-S crumbled against a rejuvenated Gremlins. The first goal, a mistake by both Nizar and Amin, gifted the opponent their first goal. Ali's own goal made it 2-0, a delicate chip above his own keeper. X-S now was playing gung-ho style, pushing men forward to get that elusive equalizer, leaving a gaping hole in defence. The opponents exploited this weakness and soon it was 3-1. The last goal was scored amidst the barrage of shots made by X-S FC in the opponents half, and that signalled the end of a game X-S could have won with ease.

Speaking to the media after the match, Captain Mamad Yaz made it clear that rookie Ali would not be permanently signed by the team, unless he shows his credentials in the upcoming matches. With this heavy defeat as well, manager Yazid was sacked and will be replaced by Woo Wee Meng who vowed to bring the team back to its winning ways. Players were dejected after the defeat, but as Jasdeep puts it, "The team needs a fixed formation." So there'll be no more makeshift strikers(damnit) and everybody will have to play his own position.

Man of the match -- Jasdeep Singh. The singh was on fire..well at least for the first half

Moan of the match -- the idiotic leftback who pulled Nuri's jersey for no apparent reason

Injury Crisis -- Daniel might be ruled out for at least 3 weeks due to a strained hamstring. Best wishes for him

New players scouted -- Kim from AJC. Adding width to e team. we might need him in the future.

Till then..so long..and do not wank before a match. u'll play like shit..trust me..

It has been confirmed that a match will be played at St Wilfrid tomorrow against a bunch of former Outram Sec students at 1pm. We will be missing Farrell Terry in defence as he is in Taiwan committing rape. However, Ali Giggs has joined us for tomorrow's match, and i hope he doesn't change his mind.

Line-up:

Gk: (Hafiz, Ram pending)

Defence: Amin, Yong Liang, Derek, Ali, Shahrul ,Wee Meng

Midfield: Yasin, Nizar, Boon Leng, Jasdeep (Long, Daniel pending)

Attack: Nuri, (Huda pending)

The team looks promising provided that everyone listed can make it. In the previous match, the team lacked manpower, sharpness and match fitness, which ultimately caused them to lose the game. We will learn from the mistakes and ensure that we will fight for victory tomorrow. Baik la.

a lacklustre performance by the boys last friday saw the team slumped to their first defeat in 6 months against a very well organized team. The 4 goal margin clearly reflected the total dominance Fake Madrid had over X-S.

In a game where chances were far and few for X-S, it was Daniel who first had a crack at goal. However, his shot from outside the penalty area was well wide of the target. Fake Madrid started controlling the midfield, with Alam and Bul doin most of the hardwork. And it paid off early in the first half, when after a poor clearance by the X-S back four, Alam tried a delicate lob over the keeper Ram to make the score 1-0. Soon the scoreline was doubled, when Lan ran through the right flank and evaded 2 defenders before crossing it into e penalty area. Apek had the easiest of goal, tapping the ball into an empty net. An injury picked up by captain Yasin forced Nuri to make a late entry in the first half and he was rewarded instantly when he found himself one on one with the keeper. However, as funny as it sounds, he tripped n fell. Poor guy.

X-S sorely missed several key players for this game, particularly Nizar and the Yongs. But the halftime talk and a change in tactics saw a rejuvenated X-S team. This time, Jasdeep, who was blamed for the 2nd goal, was slotted into the defensive midfield role. Yasin was then shifted to the right of midfield while Shahrul was put back to his orthodox role in left back position. A comeback now looked promising.

the first chance of the 2nd half fell to Huda when he found himself with only the goalie to beat. But his finishing let him down, screwing the ball wide of the mark. that proved to be the only real chance X-S would had for the last 45 mins. With no substitutes on the bench, the players were forced to play the entire 45 mins, with many still not up to match fitness after completing their A level. And not long after Huda's miss, Fake Madrid came up with a 3rd goal, this time by Abu after a brilliant showcase of skills by Azri down the left flank beating several players before laying the ball to Abu. With 2 defenders in front of him, Abu reacted the fastest, sliding for the ball and guiding it to net, leaving the keeper stranded. That proved to be the decisive goal as X-S lost their will to fight in this game. Coupled with the constant offside called against them, the team was left in disarray. Boon Leng saw his shot blocked and Long's pot shots at goal were constantly closed down by the defenders. With few minutes left Elfie made it 4-0 with a simple tap in after he beat the last defender to place the ball at the bottom corner of the match.

The defeat meant that each and every player from X-S would have to pay $8 and the team would have to regroup and find out the reason for this heavy defeat. New signings have to be made to replace those already in NS and the presence of key and also reserve players are badly needed by the team.

Till the next team report, this is me..with better english..admit it
