Happy Harpies Clinch Victory.

The Happy Harpies, as X-S FC is also known as from now, beat Team ZhongHua Sec with an amazing scoreline of 1-0. The fans are getting more and more excited as all their bets are winning. As long as X-S maintains form, the bookies will lose all bets on X-S winning by any other scoreline. Today's goal was scored by on-loan striker Amir Shearer, who has only one thing on his mind, beating the defender(s) and going for goal. He showed his instincts early on when he latched onto an excellent ball by Fabreyas, but his attempt to chip the on-rushing gk went just wide of the post. X-S started with alot of respect for the opposition in a 5-5-0 formation ala Roma. It was dour until they switched to 4-4-2 midway through the first half and it was one-way street from there. Amir was predatory in the box and squeezed his shot in the near post.

TZ was only relying on midfielder No. 10, Gelven (or sth like that), to pull the strings and basically win the match for them. However, Taka was having none of it as he went berserk throughout. He was unstoppable, unfortunately, so were his passes and his shot from kick-off.

Jasdeep's free-kick taking credentials were officially burnt as the referee couldn't help but laugh at his terrible attempt at a shot. However, his appearance at left back was neat and he made some brilliant long passes that created attacking opportunities. Eng was in imperious form alongside either Amin or Farrell who was still drunk. All 3 colossal figures will have to stay on-top of their game if X-S is to challenge for any honours this coming season. The defence was anything but bad today. Derek has to improve his eye-leg and eye-head co-ordination though, despite putting a good show at right back. Nuri came to support only. Wayne Booney is excelling in his role as Beverages and Public Transport OIC, guiding Fabreyas to the pitch and then bringing 100 Plus for the team. Kudos to Asst Mgr Nani also for the drinks. Now please hand-0ver the names and numbers of chicks you know to Rio FerdinEng, as he is our Party and Call-Girls OIC.

The Boyan made a rare appearance today, but still couldn't add to his goal tally. RonAlidinho as usual is another Ryan Babel, performing only when coming off the bench. He tested the goalkeeper with 2 stinging shots in the 2nd half but barely figured in the first despite starting. Xian Baros is doing well, and so is his brother. Daniel Alves' return from injury is a major boost, and we cannot wait for him to return to full match fitness. Goalkeeper Lee W.Liang was tremendous when going for one-on-ones with the strikers, particularly the one he slid in, but he was barely tested from long-range efforts. His dropkick accuracy and distance can be better though. Wei Jia is slowly blending in with the team's style of play, and continues to improve. He has a fierce shot, which he should utilise more. Taka's tendency to overhit his through balls can be a pain, but his work-rate and combativeness is essential to add bite in midfield. There was enough cover in the absence of MaShaunrano, Ilhan Manqif, Naqib van der Zar and many others including the Hud Brothers.

League Registration shall commence.

Harpies' Happy Moment: Booney, Bhai-ye and Shah-Raul fooling around in The Wall with the referee as the opponents were about to take the free-kick.

Moan of the Match: Bhai-ye's awful free-kick which the referee scoffed at. The stadium erupted in laughter.

Next Match is tentatively on 1 June. Details will be announced in the FB Group and the chatterbox.
