THE HARPY TIMES

After a long timeout, the harpy times is back to bring you the latest news and on-goings in the harpy camp. A new manager has been appointed, and he nicknames himself Mengvid WeeBecks which is a totally atrocious name and has already incurred the wrath of the harpy faithful because over at this club, the fans pride a nice name above everything else. But still, he might just be the one to steer the ship in this troubled times, when a win for the team is as rare as a guy with a big nose.

Supposedly supposed to appear in X-S FC's 2nd game, he went AWOL. Resulting in the 2nd consecutive defeat in the league and the team lies gracefully perched on a spot 2nd last from bottom. But it's okay we'll climb back up we're just giving the other teams a headstart. The opponents scored from their first attack. Keeper Naqib did well to make a save but the ball bounced 10 metres high and Ferdineng decided to do shake his bom-boms instead of using his head to clear the ball. Pala butoh Eng. The strong never-say-we'll-lose-so-easily mentality of the team was shown when Captain Yaz went on a solo run(some irony intended). His left footed pass trickled in and the score was 1-1. Lucky goal. Pala butoh Yaz. And they scored again. 2-1. =(

In response(sounds familiar Magic card players?), Captain Yaz arranged a game with the monfortians. Captain Yaz should not take credit for arranging this game because this game was arranged some years back. It is the 2nd leg of the first game against Montfort. When Ferdineng was theirs and theirs only. Now, he's shared among them, X-S FC, and Thai transvestites. Back then, they also had a helluva player by the name of Seow. But this 2nd leg was a very friendly affair as both teams just played football. It wasn't a convincing win for X-S FC but nevertheless the fans have always backed the players and they are pretending that it was convincing as they sang Chinese New Year songs at the top of their voices.

Now, we look forward to this weekend. Because we get to see each other and play soccer again. To wrap it all up, everyone here at this team wishes everyone else in the team a very HAPPY (here we go again) NIU YEAR. Meepo the Geomancer predicts good fortune for the team and lots of love for the rabbits. Thanks Meepo.

X-S were defeated again but this time, we battled well. It was obvious that despite a very healthy number of players available, majority of the team was well rusty. The touches and confidence was poor and low. Alas, this is the result of a too long break in football. We know everyone is frustrated but lets not get too carried away. We know we can always do better. This time, we come early to prepare for the games.

Yarsene Wenger is addressing this situation and with the help the club's latest Finance Director, Martin Eng'neill, we have lined up an interesting friendly against surprise opposition this Sunday.

this video has been compressed to low quality to be uploaded.
sorry for any inconvenienced caused.

Enjoy....

lets stop fighting and terrorism.

Alright gay boys cool it. IT WAS ME WHO POSTED THE 2ND POST OF YOU DIDN'T KNOW. COME GET ME IF YOU WANT TO. I'LL BE WAITING.

First things first, i think we need to put ourselves into the shoes of a few certain people for once and understand that it isn't easy organizing these kinda things continually and we get really tired of it(and grades suffer as a result). Sounds easy just texting people every week notifying them about matches and trying to get the strength for each game but try doing it for one whole year and see how it goes. And then we have financial issues, people who owe people money and money that goes missing and who accounts for it?

And yes one can ask when was the last time we had fun? Everyone in this team wants to have fun together and play every sunday. But when was the last time we had enough people turning up for a game?

I appreciate the efforts of those who turned up last week and played, of those who turn up for matches all the time. And also for those who have been putting in effort to make things easier. Apologies to those who felt offended by strong words or sarcasm but you are still loved nevertheless. For the naughty boys start behaving before Captain Yaz walks out on us no no we don't want that to happen. We don't want him to get angrier because his face will get blacker and then it'll be holy shit.

May there be more love in the squad and we'll see how it goes come 18th January.

Lots of love always,
Captain of the Vices

And what a wonderful way to start the new season with a smashing 7-2 defeat. Playing with 9 men for the first half, finally succumbing 5-0 at half-time. X-S players must be proud of the wonderful attendance. I can't believe the absentees asked me "what's going on?" when they should ask that in the mirror.

I'm sorry that was uncalled for and I know many of us have been faithful servants to the club. This team is around to play football together and enjoy the wonderful weekends keeping in touch with one another and maybe hopefully win some honours along the way. If any of you however think that it is a bad idea we can all abandon ship now and rest, since so many people are too busy or need to recuperate from injuries.

If not, can those who are uninterested just let me know so we can start callin' players who can actually commit instead of wasting money and time playin' handicap matches? This is not DOTA sial.
